Pussy.

The word itself is pretty provocative, but it doesn't need to be in the case of Mama Gena. She describes it as a source of power and energy. This book blew my mind... like woah.

Where to even begin with this piece, at first I was at a loss. There is so much rich history and knowledge in these pages that I had no idea where to even begin.

Ok, Ok, OKAAYY I will start.... (sigh). This book begins with the word being used in a negative sense. We have all heard it being used as a vulgar, ugly thing, but in reality it is a beautiful thing. As Mama Gena describes it, it is the giver of life, and regeneration. Which, in a physical aspect it is. It creates and harness life itself, then regenerates to start the process over. What is more powerful than that?

She uses cultural, and historic information to prove that Pussy is the power of all things. One story, Greek Mythology, to be precise, she used describe a goddess mother in terrible pain from a lose of her daughter, who was kidnapped. She was in a funk, and another goddess flashed her pussy at her and that was all she wrote. The goddess mother began to regenerate and made a deal with her daughters kidnapper to see her once a year (Long story short, the daughter is a goddess of spring and renewal...boom mind blown). All from a flash of a Pussy!!

She goes on to describe it as also emotionally charged. Woman are taught very young by the patriarchal society that when we cry we are emotional, when we are angry we are irrational, when we act out we are out of control. But this is our woman-nature. It isn't a bad thing, but we are told that it is. When did this become the norm for us, as woman? Mama Gena goes on to tell us that we can all help each other. When one woman needs the strength we can give it to her from our pussy. Not in a sexual sense, but we can harness all of our power and take what she may be lacking and with our overflow give it to her.

I HIGHLY recommend this book for you, and your daughters. The rich aspects in this literature are so tried and true to a woman's nature. We begin to lose ourselves because we are made to be care takers and leave ourselves last. This book will change your perspectives forever. If you are interested in this check it out here!
