What Are You Wearing For The Holidays
It is beginning to look a lot like that time of year. Yup, all the holiday gatherings, and work parties, and all the things going out related.
That's okay, I got you!
Well, on the what to wear part, not so much the cooking and cleaning part. Some decor but I digress.
I love a good holiday look, especially ones that can be used in multiple ways!
Sidenote: I have been trying to up my game on capsule closet ideas, because this girl is running out of room!
I pulled these looks from deep down depths of THE CLOSET, in hopes that you can find some inspo from these stellar looks!
The proverbial jeans. Not just any jean look, the OTK stretchy jean look. Yup, good ol' fashion stretch jean.
I am a huge fan of @goodamerican jeans, They have the perfect stretch and man o' man do they hug those curves!
I probably wear these denim more than any other in my closet! Of course, more when it comes to stuffing my face because they have the perfect high waist that hides it allll.
I paired it with a beautiful lace top from Miss Matched (currently offering 30% off plus free shipping!) and OTK boots from @JustFab.
Piece together any pair of your favorite denim with a stylish top and OTK boots for the perfect cozy look! Add to the look with some great accessories like these!
Sometimes jeans aren't always the dressier option, which is why the majority of this post is dresses.
For one, dress are completely flattering after eating three plates of turkey and 4 plates of pumpkin pie (just me? lol ). I get it if your not fully committed to a dress, as to why I am so glad this silk skirt trend has finally taken off!
I happened to look upon this on @veryjane! If you haven't heard if Jane, it is the holy grail of boutique sales. And yes, it's addicting!
I posted about them on IG Here.
I was a tad nervous about the color, but browns/ taupe literally go with all the colors!
I styled it with a very plain black long sleeve top, belt, heels and of course, the silk skirt.
I will say go true to size, as I went up one, and really needed to the belt for support. For reference I am 5 '6 and usually wear a medium.
This look is perfect for a night our with friends, work party, or even a family gathering!
Now for the actual dresses. I had to save some of the best looks last. Ya'll know your girl loves a good pair of jeans, but on occasion I go full boar out with the dresses!
Pair it up with some snazzy boots, and a hat then i'm all in!
This dress is from Journey 5, a very small boutique, but they have the biggest and best selection on unique items. Including this dress, and others that are very similar!
I styled it with a pair of Vince Camuto booties, and my favorite Amazon hat for a more casual, yet dress look!
I don't know if it is my inner fashion model (yeah right) or just this time of year but the dark greens are killing it this year!
One because the dress above is just righteous but this next one... hot.off.the.press!
In this first look I paired it with no best and the same booties (which btw are the best most comfy I have invested in)
Sometimes simple is key especially when you have a pretty bold dress choice. The florals in this dress make it pop. Also, I'm a sucker for holiday florals so it may be that too ha!
This dress is from Lulus, and I paired it with shorter booties. I will say pairing it with some OTK boots would work perfectly if you live in a cooler climate than I do too!!
I also paired it with a best so you can see that the waistline can easily be accentuated. Either way the dress is gorgeous and completely comfortable for any occasion!
Wowza, just like that I am hook line and sinker for this beautiful maroon number. I mean is it even the holidays if it doesn't include boots and some form of holiday colors?
Maybe....
This @justfab attire hit the mark when it comes to holiday dress. It is the color and the wrap detail is completely flattering, not just on me, but anyone!
The slouch boot vibe is trending big time this year, and I am here for it ya'll!
I paired these two together with my go-to Victoria Emerson bracelet and it matched perfectly!
